We love what we do, and because we are always looking to improve ourselves and our skills, we think we’re pretty good at what we do (in our humble opinions). Hopefully you’ve arrived at this page because you like what we do too. We take a lot of pride in our work and love showing it to as many people as possible. However, for the sake of quality, authenticity and some legal entitlements, we do not allow anyone else to use our images without our permission.

All photographs taken, and images made, by Studio Con Brio remain the sole property of Studio Con Brio and cannot be used in any manner by those outside of Studio Con Brio unless agreed to by us in writing prior to such use. Basically, if you like our work and want to use it, contact us first. We’re pretty friendly (most of the time) and only make such a request because (1) we need to make sure that the client (if there is one) involved in the photo is also happy for you to use their photo and (2) we like to know where our photos are being displayed.

In the first case, you may be a wedding supplier of a shared client and wish to use photos from their wedding day for advertising. Most couples would be more than happy with this. However, we like to check with them first so that they are not surprised when they see their life-sized faces on the side of a bus (it could happen). Likewise, our use of an image may be limited, for example, we may only be permitted to use a shot with a particular model for two years. If you want to use the same image, then we need to make sure you stop using the image after two years as well. Otherwise, we could be liable. And we don’t want that.

So, it’s just of matter of checking and tracking. Checking everyone is happy with HOW a photo is being used and tracking WHERE the photo is being used. Simple really, despite all the legal stuff.
